Introduction

This Privacy Policy describes how NeoXten Studios, a brand of PLASTYPESA S.R.L. ("we," "us," or "our"), collects, uses, and protects information when you use NeoXten Terra ("the App"), an idle ecosystem simulation game for Android.

We are committed to protecting your privacy and complying with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and applicable EU data protection laws.

Information We Collect

Authentication Data

When you first open the App, we create an anonymous identifier using Firebase Authentication. This identifier contains no personal information — it is a random string used to associate your game save with your device. If you choose to sign in with Google for cloud sync, we receive your Google account email and display name.

Game Save Data

Your game progress (ecosystem state, discovered species, resources, settings) is stored in Google Cloud Firestore, associated with your anonymous identifier or Google account. This data is used solely to provide cloud save functionality.

Analytics Data

We use Firebase Analytics to collect anonymised usage data, including session duration, features used, and in-app events (such as species discoveries and prestige completions). This data does not identify you personally and is used to improve the game experience.

Crash Reports

We use Firebase Crashlytics to collect anonymised crash reports, including device model, operating system version, and stack traces. This data is used solely to identify and fix technical issues.

Advertising Data

If you choose to watch rewarded advertisements, our advertising partners (Google AdMob) may collect your Advertising ID and device information to serve relevant ads. You can opt out of personalised advertising through the consent dialog shown on first launch, or through your device settings at any time.

Purchase Data

If you make in-app purchases (Nature Pass subscription or one-time purchases), payment processing is handled entirely by Google Play. We do not collect, process, or store any payment information. We receive only a purchase confirmation and entitlement status from Google Play.

How We Use Information

We use the information collected to:

• Provide and maintain your game save across devices
• Deliver in-app purchases and subscription entitlements
• Serve optional rewarded advertisements
• Analyse anonymised usage patterns to improve the game
• Identify and resolve technical issues via crash reports
• Deliver game configuration updates and seasonal content

Third-Party Services

NeoXten Terra uses the following third-party services:

• Firebase Authentication — anonymous and Google sign-in (Firebase Privacy)
• Cloud Firestore — game save storage (Google Cloud DPA)
• Firebase Analytics — anonymised usage analytics
• Firebase Crashlytics — anonymised crash reporting
• Firebase Remote Config — game configuration delivery

All data is stored in the European Union (Firestore region: europe-west2, London).

Legal Basis for Processing

We process your data based on the following legal grounds under GDPR:

• Contractual necessity — to provide the game service, cloud saves, and purchased features
• Legitimate interest — to analyse anonymised usage for product improvement and to monitor technical stability
• Consent — for personalised advertising (collected via the GDPR consent dialog on first launch)

Your Rights

Under the GDPR, you have the right to:

• Request correction of inaccurate data
• Request deletion of your data
• Object to or restrict processing of your data
• Withdraw consent for personalised advertising at any time

Data Deletion

You can request deletion of all your data by:

• Using the "Delete Account" option in the App settings
• Emailing neoxtenstudios@gmail.com with your request

Upon receiving a deletion request, we will permanently remove your game save, discovery journal, and any associated data from our systems within 30 days.

Data Retention

We retain your game save data for as long as you use the App. If your account is inactive for 24 months, we may delete your data. Analytics and crash data is retained in anonymised form for up to 14 months in accordance with Firebase default retention policies.

Children's Privacy

NeoXten Terra is not directed at children under 13 years of age. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If we become aware that a child under 13 has provided us with personal data, we will take steps to delete that information.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated effective date. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
