Nemyo — Calm Content Redirection

1. Acceptance of Terms
By installing, accessing, or using Nemyo — including the Chrome extension, the Nemyo parent app, and the Nemyo child app (collectively, "the Service") — you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
The Service is published by NeoXten Studios, a brand of PLASTYPESA S.R.L., a company registered in Romania (CUI: 52198408).
2. Description of Service
Nemyo is a parental content redirection tool consisting of:
- A Chrome browser extension (Manifest V3) that monitors supported platforms (YouTube, TikTok, Roblox, Google, Bing) for harmful content and quietly redirects children to safe alternatives
- A parent Android application for managing child profiles, viewing redirect events, and controlling device settings
- A child Android application that provides VPN-based DNS filtering and a curated safe content Explorer
Nemyo does not block, warn, or punish. It redirects children away from harmful content calmly and silently, logging minimal metadata for the parent to review.
3. User Eligibility and Responsibilities
To use Nemyo as a parent account holder, you must:
- Be at least 18 years of age
- Have legal authority (parental responsibility or legal guardianship) over the child whose device you are configuring
- Provide accurate account information
- Keep your account credentials secure
By installing the Nemyo extension or child app on a device, you confirm that you have the legal right to manage content on that device. You are responsible for all activity on your account.
4. Subscription and Payment
Plans
Nemyo offers the following family subscription plans:
- Monthly: €4.99 per month
- Annual: €49.99 per year (save approximately 17%)
Free trial
Both plans include a 5-day free trial. You will not be charged during the trial period. If you cancel before the trial ends, no payment will be taken.
Billing
All payments are processed securely by Stripe. After the free trial, your subscription renews automatically at the end of each billing period (monthly or annually) unless cancelled. Prices are in EUR and include applicable taxes.
Price changes
We reserve the right to change subscription prices with reasonable advance notice. Existing subscriptions will be honoured at the original price until the next renewal date after the change takes effect.
5. Cancellation
You may cancel your subscription at any time through:
- The Stripe customer portal (accessible from the Nemyo parent dashboard)
- Your account settings within the parent app
Upon cancellation, you retain full access to Nemyo features until the end of your current billing period. After that, protection features will be deactivated. No partial refunds are issued for the remaining time in a billing period.
6. Limitation of Liability
Nemyo is not a replacement for parental supervision. While Nemyo is designed to reduce a child's exposure to harmful online content, no automated system can guarantee complete protection. Parents and guardians remain responsible for supervising their children's online activity.
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, PLASTYPESA S.R.L. shall not be liable for:
- Any harmful content that is not detected or redirected by the Service
- Any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from use of the Service
- Temporary interruptions or unavailability of the Service
- Actions taken by third-party platforms that affect the Service's functionality
The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. Nothing in these Terms limits liability for fraud, death or personal injury caused by negligence, or any other liability that cannot be excluded under applicable law.
7. Intellectual Property
All content in the Service — including but not limited to code, design, artwork, icons, the Nemyo name, and the NeoXten brand — is the property of PLASTYPESA S.R.L. or its licensors and is protected by copyright and intellectual property laws.
You may not copy, modify, distribute, reverse-engineer, or create derivative works from any part of the Service without prior written permission.
8. Prohibited Uses
You agree not to:
- Use the Service on devices you do not own or have legal authority over
- Use the Service to monitor individuals without proper legal authority (e.g. monitoring adults without consent)
- Reverse-engineer, decompile, or disassemble the extension or apps
- Attempt to circumvent, disable, or interfere with the Service's security features
- Use automated tools (bots, scripts, scrapers) to interact with the Service
- Resell, redistribute, or sublicense access to the Service
- Use the Service for any unlawful purpose
9. Termination
We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service at any time if you violate these Terms. You may stop using the Service at any time by uninstalling the extension and apps from your devices.
Upon termination, your licence to use the Service ends. Sections relating to intellectual property, limitation of liability, and governing law survive termination.
10. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated effective date. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms. For significant changes, we will provide notice on our website and, where possible, via email to registered users.
11. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Romania. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Romania, without prejudice to any mandatory consumer protection rights under the laws of your country of residence within the European Union.
